Transport to Boulder – Public Transportation (RTD)

RTD buses (SkyRide) provide the easiest and the most economical transportation to Boulder. The bus station is located at Denver International Airport at the DEN Transit Center, Level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport Hotel. The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of the Jeppesen Terminal by exiting the glass doors and taking the escalator or elevator down to ground level. Turn right for Bus Gates to Boulder. Look for AB Gate. AB1/AB2 bus will take you to the Broadway and Euclid station, witch is an easy 6 minute walk to the College of Music – Click on “More options” on map and select AB1 or AB2 and walk option. Other routs with transfers are for off-hours (late night) only.

Purchase RTD Tickets: mobile app; Ticket vending machine at the station; Cash (exact change) on bus. 

Getting around in Boulder

Uber and Lyft are plentiful in Boulder. The most conveninet and economical way to get around is by HOP bus operated by the City of Boulder. HOP stops in front of the College of Music and also at the corner of Canyon and 28th Street. Embassy Suites by HIlton, Hilton Garden Inn, Residence by Marriott, Boulder Marriott and the 29th Street Mall are located at the corner of Canyon and 28th. There are two HOP routes, clockwise and counterclockwise. Both routes stop at the same stations. HOP fare can be paid via the RTD app, or by a day pass or ticket books.
